What will volunteers do?

Potential tasks include installing interior finishes such as trim and shelving. Please note that tasks may vary, but all are an important part of of the building process. Site lead will be Christina.

What should volunteers know about the location?

No prior skills are required, and leadership is provided. Please be flexible in what types of tasks you do; all are an important part of the building process. Minimum age to volunteer: 16 years of age. An adult must accompany youth. For weather concerns, please contact the Construction HOTLINE for any cancellations: (614) 422-4828 (hit #, then dial ext. 7039). The hotline will be updated by 7:30 ... am if there are any cancellations. Attire Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting dirty. Volunteers must wear sturdy hard-soled shoes (work boots preferred). Absolutely no sandals or open toed/open heeled shoes allowed. Come out and help Habitat, learn new skills, and meet some amazing people. Please bring a water bottle and be on time, our house leads count on you! You will sign in, complete a waiver form, and receive a safety huddle upon arrival. Please note: While on site, please be aware of your surroundings. Do not leave any valuables in plain view in your car.
